Your Horse Magazine

In an article entitled "Smooth Movers", Kate Large talks to Rachel and Yvonne Bowen about their Pasos at Rancho Pavo Real. The article also features Lesley Gladwin and how she came into the breed. The article has some great photos of many of the Pasos. This is a great piece promoting the unique benefits of gaited breeds, Icelandics are covered too. With Your Horse Live comming up soon we hope this will help raise the awareness of the breed in the UK.

The UK Spring Show shoud perhaps be renames the Show between two storms. The show on March 11th at Unex Towerlands, in Braintree Essex, sat squarely between two of the wettest and windiest days of the year. Despite this, the UK and Ireland's Paso Fino enthusiats showed just how tenacious and determined they were.

Your Horse Live - Stoneleigh 9th - 11th November

Your Horse Live was a great success for the Paso Fino Association. The three days were packed with non-stop action around our stand in the Breeds Village. Saturday was particularly busy with Danesa hardly having a moment to nod off between visitors wanting to give her a pat!

It was wonderful to have so many people come up to us and say that they had read the article in Your Horse magazine. Clearly the combined exposure through the magazine and the show has raised the profile of Paso Finos in the UK. We even had to print some extra flyers for the Spring UK Paso Finos Show at Towerlands as we ran out - hopefully a good sign for attendance at the show. Similarly the literature for UK Paso Fino farms just flew off the stand.

We would like to say a big thank you to all of you who visited us at Your Horse Live and hope you will come and visit one of the Paso Fino farms near you in the not too distant future and experience for yourself the joy of riding the smoothing riding horse in the world.

The Paso Fino Grand Nationals in Perry, Georgia.

We hope you managed to watch the show on Galopando TV. www.galopandotv.com , broadcasting is more or less continuous from the show ring.

It was wonderful to see so many top class Pasos all in the show ring at one time.

Minority and Rare equine breeds show - September 16th

Unfortunately cancelled due to foot and mouth restrictions on live stock movement. Organised by the Caspian Horse society and hopefully an event for next year.

Royal Windsor Horse Show - May 2007

We were invited to appear at the Royal Windsor Horse show this year; where we will gave daily demonstrations in the Copper Horse Ring along with a Pervian Paso. The Event held in the grounds of Windsor Castle was attended by the Royal family. It is arguably the most prestigious horse show of the UK equine calendar, and despite the variable weather attracted huge crowds. This was a great opportunity to demonstration Paso Finos to the British public and we are most grateful to be asked to do this.

Visit the Royal Windsor Horse Show website for an up to date program.

Radio and TV

Following the invitation to appear at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, we were asked to give Radio and Television interviews. The Television crew filmed us at the Royal Windsor horse show. The documentary is hopefully to be shown on Sky TV and BBC to feature the Paso Fino and its history. Watch this space for further details.

Carlos' understanding of the Paso Fino combined with his exceptional teaching skills were appreciated by all who attended.
